We are seeking a Beneficiary Service Coordinator to join our North American Disaster Relief team in North Wilkesboro, NC
. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the role of Beneficiary Service Coordinator
, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
- Work with potential NADR beneficiaries to identify best-matched candidates based on need, eligibility and other program criteria. Interview applicants and gather pertinent background information including financial history.
- Maintain proper documentation and tracking to ensure successful completion of each project. Keep detailed files of each beneficiarys needed documentation, ensuring the data is kept strictly confidential.
- Communicate and minister to beneficiaries, keeping them informed during the application process and assisting in their requests.
- Travel to field locations to assist with Case Management for Short-Term Needs Programs as needed.
- Take inbound/makes outbound phone calls to serve homeowners affected by disaster, needing assistance with rebuilding their homes, and assisting with overflow calls as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Serve with Excellence
As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and two (2) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Intermediate technology skills.
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
- Highly effective communication and written skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to change.
- Well organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability in active listening and critical thinking.
- Ability to identify with and understand another persons experience or point of view.
- Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve problems.
- Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred, not required
