Colonoscopy, EGD, Laparoscopic-assisted cases, Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection, Hernia repair, Hysterectomy, C-sections, D&C, Cataract extraction/implant, ACL reconstruction, Arthroscopy, Carpal tunnel release, Fracture reduction, Total joint replacement, Cystoscopy IV starts, cardiac monitoring, conscious sedation, PACU recovery Infection control, radiation safety, specimen handling, universal protocol/time-out, urinary catheterization

Certifications:

ACLS, BLS, PALS Preferred

Ambulatory OR experience Scrub experience for endoscopic, mastectomy, thyroid, ophthalmology, orthopedic, urology surgeries Bronchoscopy, PEG tube placement/exchange Patient Population / Diagnoses:
Appendicitis, bowel obstruction, cholecystitis, ureteral stones, orthopedic, ophthalmic, GYN/OB Special Procedures / Equipment:
Appendectomy, bowel resection, colonoscopy, EGD, cholecystectomy, c-sections, hysterectomy, hysteroscopy, ablations, ureteral stents, urolift, prostate biopsy Equipment:
Stryker orthopedic, Olympus lap, Fuji endoscopy Systems / Documentation:
Meditech, Omnicell Scheduling / Call / Float:
Monday – Friday 07:00 – 15:00 Call every 3rd day and 3rd weekend (weekday call: 15:00–07:00; weekend: Friday 15:00–Monday 07:00) Call-back time: 30 min–4 hrs, depending on case No float required No weekend coverage outside call Orientation / Scrubs: 24 hours orientation Scrubs provided Interview:
Candidate interview required before manager offers Provide availability for next 72 hours
