Location: Stovall
Flexible Locum NP/PA Urgent Care Coverage in North Carolina We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time locum tenens opportunity to provide comprehensive Urgent Care coverage near Roanoke Rapids, NC. This role involves seeing patients of all ages in a fast-paced outpatient setting with a procedure-heavy scope of practice.
Key Responsibilities & Volume Provide high-quality urgent care services, managing a high volume of patients. Manage an average of 35???40 patients per day per provider. Perform common Urgent Care procedures, including:
Suturing Foreign Body Removal Incision & Drainage (I&D's) Casting/DME fitting Participate in a comprehensive orientation the day prior to the first shift. Schedule Rotating
Schedule:
36 hours per week, consisting of three 12-hour shifts. No Call Required. Typical Shift

Friday: 7:00 AM ??? 7:00 PM Saturday/Sunday: 7:00 AM ??? 3:00 PM Required Coverage Dates:
Extensive availability needed throughout January, February, and March 2026 (specific dates listed in original post). Qualifications Current and valid NP or PA license in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain one). Required
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Proven experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency setting, comfortable seeing all ages. Enjoy the comforts of small-town living with proximity to beautiful waterways, including the Roanoke River and Lake Gaston.
