Shifts:

24-hour in-house call (8 AM - 8 AM EST) Call Requirements:
In-house call only, handling assigned patients Work Setting:
Inpatient Number of Providers Needed: 3 Nurse Practitioners Neonatal ICU:
Level 2 NICU Responsibilities:
Provide care for neonates in an inpatient setting, primarily in the NICU Respond to 24-hour call, attending to assigned patients Perform admissions as required (2-3 patients per shift) Be available for phone consultations as needed No supervisory responsibilities for advanced practice providers or residents

Qualifications:

Board Certification:
Required for Nurse Practitioner, with a focus in Neonatology Licensure:
Must be licensed to practice in North Carolina Required

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Preferred Experience:

Neonatal care experience and familiarity with Cerner EMR system Facility Information:
