$15,000 Sign-On Bonus for Day Shift with a 2-year commitment

Schedule: 3x12s, Day Shift (7a-7p). Holidays and Weekends Required.

and Care Environment

Join our team in a 12-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), our ICU operates with a 1:2 nurse to patient ratio. We offer Telehealth intensivists for immediate support and manage a diverse range of diagnoses including respiratory failure, cardio/pulmonary disease, sepsis, and diabetic keto acidosis (DKA). Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, administering specialized treatments, monitoring critical conditions, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

How You'll Contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
  • Performs timely and accurate quality improvement (QI) assessments

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
  • AHA ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire
  • One year of experience preferred
  • Crucial thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment
