Position: Family Nurse Practitioner: Urgent & Primary Care Lead

Position

Family Nurse Practitioner – Full Time – Cameron, NC.

Overview

Provide patient‑focused urgent and primary care across all ages, lead a small team, and work in a high‑volume urgent care setting.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat upper respiratory issues such as cold, flu, strep, COVID‑19, and other common illnesses.
  • Perform minor procedures: toenail removal, foreign‑object removal, suturing, splinting.
  • Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
  • Order and review radiographs (with radiologist review).
  • Provide general dermatology, eye, and EKG interpretation services.
  • Apply emergency management skills.
  • Provide general gynecological expertise and manage female patients.
  • Treat children of all ages.
  • Offer occupational medicine services.
  • Participate in telemedicine encounters.
Schedule

Open 7 days a week:
Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.;
Saturday–Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Rotating work pattern includes every other weekend, with a two‑week cycle of seven work days followed by seven off days.

Qualifications
  • Family Nurse Practitioner board certification.
  • MSN or higher education (new graduates welcome).
  • DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (cost covered).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
