Carolina Quick Care is hiring a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at our Whiteville clinic. Whiteville is the county seat of Columbus County in southeastern North Carolina, a rural community where providers make a real impact on local healthcare access.
What to expect: 3 x 12‑hour shifts per week, $55‑70/hour ($103K‑131K annually), no on‑call, and a benefits package recognized as a top 10 program nationally among private urgent care organizations. You will be the primary provider on‑site, managing acute and episodic care independently in a fast‑paced urgent care setting. You are supported by established clinical protocols, a dedicated clinic support team, and direct access to clinical leadership and network resources. Onboarding includes a structured clinical orientation designed to set you up for success from day one.
Clinical Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and episodic conditions.
- Perform common urgent care procedures, including laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, and DOT physicals.
- Order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing, including in‑house labs and imaging.
- Prescribe medications appropriately and provide patient education on treatment plans, follow‑up care, and preventive health.
- Document encounters thoroughly and accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to maintain efficient patient flow, quality outcomes, and a strong patient experience.
- Manage an average patient volume of 3‑4 patients per hour, supporting thorough evaluation, quality care, and complete documentation.
- Full‑time, 3 x 12‑hour shifts per week.
- No on‑call requirements.
- Schedules are published in advance via a self‑scheduling system.
- Additional shifts are available via the scheduling app with time‑and‑a‑half pay after 40 hours per week.
Hourly rate of $55‑70/hour based on experience, credentials, and clinic location. Annual equivalent of approximately $103K‑131K. Productivity incentives are available above base compensation. Signing and relocation bonuses may be offered based on clinic location and operational need.
