Position OverviewThe Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Monitor Bed Unit (MBU) provides essential, hands‑on patient care under the direction of nursing staff. This role is vital in supporting patient comfort, safety, and overall well‑being in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, mobility, and meals
- Obtain and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
- Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs
- Support nurses with patient care and documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams
- Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety at all times
- Certification:
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in North Carolina - Certification:
Basic Life Support (CPR) – required - Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent – preferred
Experience:
Previous CNA experience preferred
