3x12, Days (7p - 7a), Rotating Weekends
Join our team in a 39-bed Medical Surgical unit where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside RNs, LPNs, and other CNAs. With a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, you will assess patient needs, administer treatments, and ensure comfort and safety. This position offers a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possibly taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
- Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
- Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Assist with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean and orderly.

- Current listing as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with the state of North Carolina Division of Facility Services.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Certification: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Critical thinking skills; decisive judgment; ability to work with minimal supervision and in a stressful environment.
- No substantiated findings of abuse, neglect or misappropriation of property in a facility that provides nursing care.
