Job Type: Full‑Time | Days
Sign‑On Bonus: $5,000 with a 2‑year commitment
Schedule:
3×12, Days (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.), Rotating Weekends
Join our Emergency Department in a dynamic 17‑bed unit with a 1:4 nurse‑to‑patient ratio. As an Emergency Services CNA you provide vital patient care and support the rapid response environment.
Responsibilities- Perform basic patient care activities delegated and supervised by an RN—including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
- Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
- Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, or emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Help keep patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.

- Current state listing as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with the North Carolina Division of Facility Services.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- No substantiated findings of abuse, neglect or misappropriation of property in a facility that provides nursing care.
- For telemetry tech positions: completion of a basic telemetry monitoring course or competency training for arrhythmia interpretation may be required.
- For unit secretary positions: completion of training in basic unit secretary tasks such as transcription of physician orders and computer data entry.
