Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide specialized telemetry nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced acute care setting. Ensure high-quality patient outcomes through attentive monitoring, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms using standard telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols.
• Document patient care accurately in the Cerner system.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, certifications, and dress code standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with recent inpatient telemetry or rehabilitation experience.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and CPI preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in wound care procedures and geriatric patient care.
• Ability to work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, with minimal floating responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
