Neurology Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Neurology in Ahoskie, NC are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide neurological care in an outpatient setting. The successful candidate will be part of the regional neurology outpatient practice providing general neurology patient assessments and management. Neurology experience is preferred. A neurology orientation with our established neuroscience team in Greenville, NC, will be required prior to being the sole onsite provider at ECU Health Neurology in Ahoskie, NC.

• Support from ECU Health Roanoke Chowan Hospital, a 114-bed community hospital offering full scope of services including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, Oncology, Behavioral Health, Cardiology, Pain Management, Endocrinology, and Urology
• Outpatient only with a Monday–Friday schedule
• No call
• Supervision by a neurologist who will provide care via telemedicine
• Large referral network including over 185 ECU Health practices and 9 ECU Health owned hospitals
• Support from an established clinical neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists. The subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, intraoperative monitoring and neuro-oncology. There is also a large team of inpatient and outpatient Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
