RN‑Registered Nurse
• PCU – Progressive Care Unit
Onsite contract starts 8/24/2026, 13 weeks. Day shift, 12 hours/day, 3 days/week.
Unit Information- Type:
Acute Care - Location:
Blue Ridge Regional Hospital, 125 Hospital Drive, Spruce Pine NC 28777 - Floor: 2nd
- Building:
Main Hospital
- Bed capacity: 25 inpatient, up to 27 with ED holds
- Staff composition:
Day shift – 4‑5 RNs, 2‑3 PCTs/HUC;
Night shift – 4‑5 RNs, 2‑3 PCTs. House supply on weekends and overnight. - Equipment:
BiPAP, Vapotherm, Lifts, Baxter Pumps, Telemetry/Continuous O₂ - EMR:
Cerner
- Telemetry experience
- ICU experience
- Wound Care
- Team oriented
- Good communication
- NIHSS
- BLS & ALS
- ED
- Scrub color/attire:
Navy Blue
