As a Registered Nurse at Mission Hospital, you’ll have all the staffing support, technology and resources you need to deliver safe, high-quality care—so you can focus on what you do best.

The Labor & Delivery unit is a 16‑bed unit. It is a fast‑paced environment with high volume of deliveries. This nursing role involves providing care to patients in laboring rooms, operating room, and OB triage.

This position is eligible for a sign‑on bonus.

Job Summary and Qualifications
  • Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well‑being of patients.
  • Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families.
  • Implements medically prescribed interventions.
Qualifications
  • Must have and maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply; licensee should confirm with NCBON.
  • Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider.
  • Preferred:
    National Certification in area of specialty.
  • Required Experience:

    Must have one year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
