Overview
Carolina Quick Care is hiring a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at our Shallotte clinic. Shallotte is a growing hub in Brunswick County serving the southern coastal NC community, centrally located between Wilmington and Myrtle Beach.
Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and episodic conditions.
- Perform common urgent care procedures, including laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, and DOT physicals.
- Order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing, including in-house labs and imaging.
- Prescribe medications appropriately and provide patient education on treatment plans, follow-up care, and preventive health.
- Document encounters thoroughly and accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to maintain efficient patient flow, quality outcomes, and a strong patient experience.
Average patient volume of 3-4 patients per hour. Clinical leadership and network resources are accessible when needed. Fully equipped clinics with on-site diagnostics and Experity EMR. Established workflows and clinical protocols support efficient, high-quality care delivery.
Schedule- Full-time, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
- Rotating weekends
- No on-call requirements
- Schedules are published in advance via a self-scheduling system
- Additional shifts are available via the scheduling app with time-and-a-half pay after 40 hours per week
Hourly rate of $55-$70/hour based on experience, credentials, and clinic location. Annual equivalent of approximately $103K-$131K. Productivity incentives are available above base compensation. Signing and relocation bonuses may be offered based on clinic location and operational need.

- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- 1+ years of urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred
