About Morse Clinic of Durham, PCThe Morse Clinic of Durham is recruiting for staff members to join our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) program also known as medications for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD). MOUD is the use of medications, in combination with counseling, mental and behavioral therapies, to provide a holistic approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. MOUD is the gold standard for treatment of opioid use disorders.
The Morse Clinic’s OTP program is regulated by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation, North Carolina State Opioid Treatment Authority, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and the Drug Enforcement Agency and North Carolina Drug Control Unit. At the Morse Clinics, we are wholeheartedly committed to the overall biological, psychological, social, and spiritual health and well-being of our patients.
We focus on reducing or alleviating the emotional, mental, and behavioral distress resulting from active use in opioid use disorders. We believe that every patient we encounter is capable of achieving an improved quality of life. Our substance use services are provided by a multidisciplinary team of medical providers, nursing staff, direct care staff, and clinicians who are committed to providing quality care
Nurse – Be a Healing Force at Morse Clinics
Schedule: Full-Time | Morning shifts
Pay: RN, $35-$38/hour; LPN, $28-30/hour

Your Role
As a Dispensing Nurse
, you’ll be a vital part of our medical team, supporting patients through their recovery journey with clinical expertise and empathy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nursing evaluations upon patient admission (RN only)
- Administer and document medication dispensing in compliance with federal/state regulations
- Monitor patient vitals and conduct auxiliary testing as needed
- Provide psychoeducation on HIV/AIDS, TB, Hepatitis, Pregnancy, and other health topics
- Coordinate medical referrals and collaborate with physicians, NPs, and PAs
- Maintain accurate records in Methasoft EHR
- Participate in treatment team meetings and ongoing training
Who You Are
You’re a nurse with a heart for healing and a mind for precision. You bring:
- RN or LPN license (active in NC)
- Experience in addiction treatment or behavioral health (preferred)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- A calm, compassionate presence in high‑stakes situations
