Pay Range: $35.50 - $53.25

• Collect appropriate data specific to diagnosis for evaluation purposes.
• Develop treatment plans that reflect judgement and skill application commensurate with patient's health and age-specific status.
• Modify exercise prescription due to changes in medications, environmental conditions or medical status.
• Recognize a patient's lack of progress and consult with colleagues, physician or other disciplines for treatment ideas in a timely manner. Document information completely and according to insurance and department guidelines.
• Develop programs to educate customers and market services.
• Offer educational information that meets individual or group needs and desired outcomes. Conduct individual or group sessions in a knowledgeable, professional manner.
• Provide appropriate written handouts to patients and record education provided in chart.
• Communicate with physicians: clarify unclear orders, seek orders on appropriate patients, provide progress reports, etc.
• Perform stress testing and wound inspections and report to physician in a timely manner.
• Obtain orders from physician for treatment of angina, changes in medication and administering oral medication.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures.

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) to be obtained within 6 months unless the department leader determines it is not required.

• Associate's Degree in Nursing.

• Typically requires 2 years of experience in Nursing.

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, set appropriate priorities and accomplish assignments in a thorough and timely manner.
• Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office applications.

• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and squat on a daily basis.
• May be exposed to mechanical and electrical hazards as well as blood and body fluids; therefore, protective clothing (i.e., gloves) must be worn as necessary.
• Generally exposed to a normal office environment.
• Operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
