Job Summary and QualificationsProvide care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Administer medications, change dressings, provide wound care, and serve as liaison between providers and patients. Document care delivery, patient condition, reactions, and progress. Provide patient education on pharmaceuticals and support the business goals of the practice.
Required Education and Credentials- Certification:
Must hold a current CMA credential (AAMA, AMT, ARMA, NCCT, AMCA). - License:
Maintain the certification listed above. - Preferred Experience:
Minimum two (2) years in an ambulatory clinic.
Mission Hospital McDowell, a member of Mission Health and an operating division of HCA Healthcare, serves communities in McDowell, Burke and Rutherford counties. Located in Marion, North Carolina, it operates 30 beds, including 5 labor and delivery suites. Medical specialties include family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, emergency medicine, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, obstetrics and gynecology, and walk-in, non-emergency care at Mission My Care Now McDowell.
