Overview
We are seeking Per-Diem Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide compassionate patient care in the Hampton Roads area.
Responsibilities- Collect patient data
- Administer medications
- Reinforce education
- Provide wound care
- Supervise unlicensed staff
- Collect specimens
- Ensure equipment functionality
- Call providers
- Coordinate care
- Insert IVs
- Monitor intake/output
- Maintain logs
- Respond to emergencies
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Supervise patients
- Handwashing
- Proper PPE use
- Patient positioning
- Transferring and assisting with mobility
- Bed‑making
- Range of motion exercises
- Personal care
- Feeding
- Vital sign recording
- Active LPN license
- Minimum one year of facility‑based experience
- COVID vaccination or weekly testing
- BLS/CPR certification
- Recent PPD
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Stand and walk for long periods
- Bend without restrictions
