Job Title:
Per-Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Provide compassionate patient care in various healthcare settings, performing duties such as administering medications, collecting specimens, wound care, supervising unlicensed staff, and responding to emergencies. Ensure proper functioning of medical equipment, coordinate patient care, and support activities of daily living.
Key Responsibilities- Collect patient data and specimens
- Administer medications and reinforce patient education
- Provide wound care and assist with activities of daily living
- Supervise nursing aides and ensure safety protocols
- Respond to emergencies and maintain accurate logs
- Perform various patient care tasks including vital signs, mobility assistance, and hygiene
- Active LPN license
- Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
- Covid vaccination or weekly testing
- BLS/CPR certification
- Recent PPD within one year
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
