Job Description:
The Wound Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care in an outpatient wound care clinic setting under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. The nurse collaborates with other professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of approved school of practical nursing.
- Current NC or compact state LPN license, BLS certification.
- ACLS certification required within one (1) year of employment or as available courses allow.
Preferred:
Additional wound care education. One year of supervised experience as a wound care LPN.
Experience:
Computer experience in word processing, database programs and spreadsheets. Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication skills.
