Position: Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Join Our Team + $5,000 Bonus
Location: Belvidere

Overview

We are looking for a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high‑quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings, meeting patient volume goals while supporting a collaborative, patient‑centered environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care in clinic and telehealth, meeting established patient volume goals.
  • Lead clinic staff—X‑ray technologists, nurses, front‑office specialists—in behaviors, actions, and attitude to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and medications; ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses.
  • Engage with clinical leadership and, when appropriate, management to resolve patient care concerns and uphold company values.
  • Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as required on a daily basis.
  • Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patient histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Deliver excellent patient care through diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, focusing on patient‑centric care, safety, and cost effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including HIPAA and other health information management standards.
  • Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment in both clinic and virtual settings.
  • Pursue telehealth patient queues in a timely fashion to ensure appropriate follow‑up.
  • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications; educate patients on continued treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and participate in E/M training.
  • Complete mandatory compliance training and adhere to standard NP/PA protocols.
  • Promote core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
  • Recommend ideas to improve overall patient experience and care.
  • Communicate regularly within the team in all necessary forms to support excellent patient care.
  • Welcome new employees, facilitate onboarding, job shadowing, and coaching opportunities.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere, friendly and cordial relations with clients and employees, and uphold confidentiality.
  • Consult with patients through virtual communication channels as needed.
Additional Responsibilities for Ancillary Providers
  • PRN employees must work a minimum of four shifts per month.
  • Full‑time employees are required to work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend.
  • Ancillary providers may be on call periodically throughout the year.
Experience Requirements and Preferences
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS).
  • At least 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice (Urgent Care, Occupational Medical Facility, ER, Trauma Unit, Family Medical Practice).
  • Active state license and DEA registration; DEA required within 120 days of meeting state law for all providers. DOT certification required for full‑time and part‑time providers within 120 days of employment.
  • Ability to treat patients of all ages.
  • Compliance with all credentialing requirements for the state.
