Where You Will Work:
Surgical Services at Lincoln includes a modern procedural suite with three operating rooms (ORs) and two endoscopy rooms. Our surgical specialties include General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Orthopedics, and Neurosurgery focused on spinal procedures. In Endoscopy, the team performs a broad range of procedures, including colonoscopies, EGDs, bronchoscopies, and select cardiology-related procedures such as loop recorder insertions, TEEs, and cardioversions. We operate Monday through Friday, with on‑call coverage for weekends and holidays.

Routine surgical volumes average approximately 270 OR cases and 350 endoscopy cases per month. Preop/PACU staff support a fast‑paced, collaborative environment focused on high-quality care, patient safety, and smooth perioperative workflow across all service lines.

Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the nurse practices.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • At least one year of previous operating room experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Apply evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, communication, and compassion to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
  • Coordinate perioperative workflow, collaborating with surgical teams to maintain high quality and patient safety.
