Margate Health and Rehabilitation located in Jefferson, North Carolina is looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) on PM shift to join our team of caregivers. The primary purpose of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is to provide direct nursing care to residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Supervisory activities must comply with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility and as required by the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor to ensure the highest quality of care.
This role involves passing medications, completing assessments and treatments, documenting services, and occasionally participating in activities of daily living care or assisting CNAs.
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina or a compact license that allows practice in North Carolina.
- Long-term care experience preferred.
- Positive attitude and bedside manner.
