12‑hour nighttime shifts (7p.m.–7a.m.), PRN as needed. Holidays and weekends may be required.

About Our TeamWe operate a 33‑bed Behavioral Health Unit that serves adult and geriatric patients. The unit staff includes RNs, CNAs, Mental Health Assistants, Psychiatrists, and mental health providers, working at a nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 1:6–1:9. Patients are treated for major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, substance use disorder, psychosis, suicidal or homicidal ideation, mania, and other behavioral health crises.
Responsibilities- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
- Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provide care tailored to the condition and age of each patient.
- Document medical necessity in the medical record in a timely and accurate manner.
- Complete and revise the interdisciplinary care plan for each patient.
- Conduct timely and accurate quality improvement assessments.

- Current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license.
- Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
- AHA Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- AHA ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
- One year of related experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
