22-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Telemetry unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5. Staffed with RNs, CNAs, Telemetry Techs, and unit secretaries, providing specialized care for patients primarily diagnosed with respiratory failure and cardiac conditions. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing advanced cardiac monitoring technology to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure optimal outcomes for our diverse patient population.
How you ll contribute- Performs basic patient care as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possible blood glucose measurements, and accurate intake/output recording.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, ambulation).
- Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to nursing staff.
- Keeps patient rooms and common areas clean, safe, and appropriately stocked.
- Manages the tech desk; supports nursing/physician staff and department throughput.
- Documents care and activities per unit standards.
- Participates in performance improvement and required education; performs other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Registered in NC as a CNAI within 6 months of completing training program.
- License
: CNA or EMT preferred.
