Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) ScheduleThis role follows a rotating schedule built in 6-week blocks after a 3-week training period.
- 2–3 weekdays per week
- Every other weekend required
- Shift lengths typically range from 7–10 hours during operating hours
- Must be available for holidays as required
- May require floating to nearby locations as needed
- Total hours: 32–40 per week
This role is part of a patient-facing clinical care team within a fast-paced outpatient healthcare environment focused on delivering high-quality, accessible care.
The LVN will support providers and clinical staff in delivering preventive and acute services while ensuring efficient clinic flow, accurate documentation, and strong patient experience.
This is a safety-sensitive position requiring flexibility, reliability, and strong clinical execution skills.
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)Key Responsibilities
- Administer vaccinations and injections (including influenza, COVID-19, and TB testing)
- Obtain and document patient vital signs
- Assist with patient intake, registration, and checkout
- Support patient flow and wait room management
- Provide support during emergent situations under provider direction
- Perform appointment scheduling, outreach calls, and patient reminders
- Serve as a chaperone for sensitive exams when required
- Prepare and maintain clinical areas and exam rooms
- Support a high-quality patient experience through direct patient interaction
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient care delivery
Required Qualifications
- Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license (screenshot required for submission)
- Current BLS certification (must be valid at least 30 days beyond start date; screenshot required)
- Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience
- Prior experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings required
- Experience administering immunizations and injections
- Ability to obtain and record vital signs
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EPIC preferred)
- Strong communication and patient care skills
