As a registered nurse, you’ll be a voice for your patients, communicating with everyone involved in the plan of care—the patient, the patient’s family, and the hospice care team. You’ll serve as the patient advocate to ensure every patient receives the quality care they deserve. After-Hours Hospice RNs are salaried full-time positions to cover on call after hours from 5pm on Friday to 8am Monday morning.

You will be fully supported by our 24/7 RN staffed Triage Department alongside your local hospice team.

• Provide patient-centered, compassionate nursing care in alignment with the plan of care.
• Advocate for patients and communicate with patients, families, and the hospice care team.
• Engage in after-hours on-call duties from 5pm Friday to 8am Monday, as part of a salaried full-time position.
• Collaborate with the 24/7 RN Triage Department and local hospice team to ensure continuity of care.

• A heart to serve patients and families with a passion for providing the best possible care
• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse
• Experience: 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred)
• Required: Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80-100 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively
