The facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical care, including a 17-bed emergency department and a range of outpatient services. Franklin is nestled in the scenic mountains of western North Carolina, about 70 miles southwest of Asheville. The area is known for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a popular destination for hiking and outdoor recreation.
