We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Women's Services to join a dedicated, collaborative team providing comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Antepartum units.
Responsibilities include- Communicating effectively with the multidisciplinary team and patients' families
- Developing individualized care plans based on assessments
- Monitoring and reassessing patient responses to treatments
- Initiating discharge planning and patient education
- Administering and documenting medications safely
- Providing specialized care for labor, delivery, postpartum, gynecological, and neonatal patients, including preeclampsia, preterm labor, cesarean recovery, and infant care
- Supporting procedures like amnio infusions, NG tube placements, and intrauterine pressure catheter insertions
- Supervising and training team members as directed
Qualifications include a current RN license in NC, with 1-3 years of Women's Services experience preferred.
Essential skills:critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently, and proficiency in advanced fetal monitoring and emergency protocols such as BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE.
