Float Pool Registered Nurse

Siler City Center, a Genesis Health Care skilled nursing and rehab facility, seeks a Float Pool Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care across units. The Float Pool RN provides assessments, wound care, medication administration, and clinical interventions for post-acute, rehab, and long-term residents. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans, support CNAs, and ensure regulatory, safety, and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and medication administration
• Float between units to support staffing needs in rehab and long-term care
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team
• Monitor resident status, document accurately, and report changes promptly
• Educate residents and families on care plans, treatments, and health management
• Maintain infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
• Supervise and support CNAs and other support staff to ensure quality care
• Participate in care conferences, rounds, and quality improvement initiatives
• Respond to emergencies and perform clinical interventions per protocol
• Support a resident-centered culture of dignity, respect, and teamwork
