Role: Registered Nurse (RN) at a nursing home, providing high-quality care in a compassionate environment.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure quality nursing care by following physician’s orders, regulations, and facility policies.
- Administer medications (oral, SQ, IM, IV) as prescribed.
- Supervise and guide nursing assistants and staff.
- Assist physicians during rounds, physical exams, and treatments.
- Perform treatments, document properly, and maintain infection control standards.
- Support record-keeping, assessments, and scheduling physicals for new admissions.
- Licensed RN from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid North Carolina nursing license with renewal proof.
- Experience in geriatric nursing and commitment to patient care.
- CPR certified annually.
- Ability to supervise staff, make informed decisions, and work collaboratively.
- Dependable, flexible, and patient-oriented with good communication skills.
Additional requirements include attending training, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining professionalism. Background checks and a drug-free workplace policy are in place.
