Job Description:
This 13-week assignment positions you as an RN in an emergency department that features a dedicated 11-bed fast-track emergency unit and a trauma level designated facility. Working 12-hour night shifts, you'll be responsible for managing adult patient loads with a patient ratio of 4:1. Your routine will involve IV administrations, critical care procedures, and managing drips, all within an electronic health record system (Paragon).
The role requires a minimum of 1 year of ER or critical care experience, along with certifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIH. This assignment offers a guaranteed 36 hours per week, with rotating weekends, and no call duties. The vibrant ED environment is both challenging and rewarding, suited for those eager to make immediate impact while honing advanced emergency skills.
Expect generally mild and pleasant weather around this time of year, with warm days and cooler evenings. Temperatures tend to be comfortable, making outdoor activities and exploring nearby landscapes enjoyable.
