American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for an acute care unit requiring geriatric or inpatient rehab (swing bed) experience and wound care skills.

• Acute care unit in a hospital setting with 24 beds
• Patient ratios of 6-7:1
• No unit secretary or tech support available on the unit
• Standard Med/Surg equipment used
• Cerner EMR used for documentation
• Schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM-7:15 AM)
• Floating is rare
• Serves an affluent community with concierge-level service expectations
• Minor procedures performed on the unit

• Active RN license (NC or Compact)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and CPI certifications preferred
• Care of geriatric patients or past inpatient rehab (swing bed) experience required
• Advanced wound care skills needed
• 1 year of recent experience in telemetry/acute care specialty required
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months

• Deliver telemetry-level nursing care within an acute care setting
• Provide care to a geriatric and swing bed patient population with wound care needs
• Uniform dress code required: all navy scrubs or navy top with white bottoms
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
