American Traveler is hiring an ER RN for an overnight shift position at a busy freestanding emergency department requiring ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIH certifications with at least 1 year of ER experience.

• Work in an 11-bed freestanding emergency department (FSED) that is part of the region's largest and most comprehensive ED
• Facility includes a dedicated 33-bed psychiatric unit
• Adult patient population with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Uses Paragon EHR
• Overnight shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekend requirement, every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Rare floating possibility to Henderson ED

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• ER and critical care experience preferred
• Skilled in IV administration, critical care, and drip management
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate

• Facility is a Duke Lifepoint Hospital and Joint Commission accredited
• Provide emergency care to adult patients in a high-acuity, high-volume ED setting
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
