As a valued member of our healthcare team, the CRNA will play a key role in team-focused patient care, providing anesthesia using safe and quality techniques during procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Potential for and encouraged to precept Student Nurse Anesthetists – opportunity to mentor and assess these medical students.
- Uses medical decision-making skills to determine appropriate patient care plan to ensure peri-operative and anesthesia care, being sensitive to co-morbidities and age & developmental guidelines.
- Collaborates with medical team when needed for effective team-based care;
Uphold patient safety, drive quality improvement, and promote infection prevention within job responsibilities and initiatives. - Document and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital standards, ensuring confidentiality.
- Maintain scheduling flexibility, readiness, and punctuality to deliver timely patient care.
- Exhibit professionalism through teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Contribute to cost containment efforts by conserving resources.

- Current North Carolina RN license
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia
- National Board certification as a CRNA
- Current North Carolina CRNA licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
