Role: Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in a caring environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure patient care complies with physician’s orders, regulations, and facility policies.
- Administer medications accurately and safely.
- Supervise and guide nursing assistants and orderlies.
- Assist physicians during rounds, exams, and treatments.
- Perform scheduled treatments and document appropriately.
- Maintain infection control and adhere to safety standards.
- Support research related to nursing care quality.
- Assist with patient assessments, record-keeping, and scheduling physicals for new admissions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed RN from an accredited nursing program with a valid North Carolina license.
- CPR certification and commitment to ongoing training.
- Dependable, flexible, and able to work collaboratively with staff, patients, families, and physicians.
- Ability to make sound nursing decisions with attention to patient safety.
- Genuine interest in geriatric nursing and compassionate patient care.
