Role:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) responsible for delivering safe, high-quality patient care in a high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide focused nursing care for patients with complex needs, including medication administration, managing lines or drains, and assisting with interventions like cardiac monitoring or respiratory support.
- Monitor patients closely for subtle changes in status, such as heart rhythm, oxygen levels, or neurological signs, and elevate concerns promptly for early intervention.
- Document accurate, timely updates to support effective team coordination.
- Educate patients and families about conditions and recovery steps with clarity and compassion.
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and specialists to stabilize patients and facilitate transition from intensive care to recovery.
- Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) certification.
- Completion of vocational school.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
Clinical skills, attention to detail, compassionate presence, teamwork, and ability to respond swiftly to changes in patient status.
