Overview:
Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced express care clinic setting. This full-time day position involves working under the supervision of office managers and physicians to support patient care and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in patient assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and follow individualized care plans.
  • Deliver direct nursing care tailored to age-specific physiological needs as directed by Registered Nurses or authorized personnel.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient care records and administer medications as prescribed.
  • Ensure a safe environment by recognizing and responding to life-threatening situations promptly.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold required competencies.
  • Support patients' cultural and spiritual practices within the scope of medical care.
  • Contribute to cost containment efforts and accurate patient service billing.
  • Foster positive interpersonal relationships with healthcare staff and patients.
Education and Training:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a compact state or the relevant regional licensure is mandatory.

Experience:

No prior work experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for newly licensed practical nurses seeking to grow their clinical skills.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of age-specific physiological and psychosocial patient needs.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to communicate effectively, observe patients closely, and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. May involve exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials.
