The Registered Nurse in the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesPerforms medical procedures, monitors patient status, documents care, educates patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, medications, lifestyle changes, and follow-up care. Manages evidence-based practices, participates in quality improvement initiatives, and coordinates holistic treatment plans to promote recovery.
Qualifications and SkillsHolds a valid RN license with a Bachelor's or Associate Degree, with at least one year of experience. Certifications in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support are required within 30 days of hire.
