American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a fast-paced surgical suite requiring 2+ years of OR circulating experience and NC/compact licensure.
Requirements- Active RN license (NC or Compact)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
- OR circulating experience required
- ADN required
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and remain organized and flexible
- Work in the Operating Room department of a 154-bed hospital with 6 OR suites and 1 CSOR
- 1:1 patient ratios
- Day shift schedule (6:45A-4:45P)
- Weekend hours are variable with on-call requirements
- Call requirements include 2nd call one weekend a month and 1st/2nd call 2 times per pay period
- No floating required
- Uses Paragon EHR
- Utilizes multiple standard OR equipment pieces
- Surgical case types include Ortho, GYN, General Surgery, Urology, Plastics, Spine, Podiatry, ENT, and Ophthalmology
- Facility is Joint Commission Accredited and includes a Chest Pain Center
- Hospital offers services in orthopedics, spine, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, ED, and behavioral health, plus 11 multi-specialty physician clinics
- Scrubs are hospital-issued
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for travel pay
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
