Travel nursing opportunity for a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) in long-term care and skilled nursing in Danbury, NC. This 13-week travel RN assignment offers a consistent schedule, strong team support, and the chance to build lasting relationships with residents while providing high-quality care in a skilled nursing facility.

• Position: Long-Term Care Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Call Requirement: None
• Float Requirement: None
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710 - $1,800
• Setting: Skilled nursing / long-term care facility
• Patient Population: Geriatric residents
• Charting System: Point Click Care

• Active Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience required
• Experience with Point Click Care required
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
• Strong assessment skills, medication administration experience, and resident care expertise
• Comfort working with a low-acuity geriatric population
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to long-term care residents
• Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Support blood glucose monitoring, wound care, catheter care, and other routine skilled nursing tasks
• Document care clearly and consistently in Point Click Care
• Collaborate with CNAs, providers, and the interdisciplinary care team to support resident well-being
• Respond appropriately to resident needs, emergencies, and changes in status
• Maintain a calm, organized workflow during night shift medication passes and routine care
• Promote dignity, comfort, and quality of life for every resident
