Registered Nurse – Emergency Services

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, responsible for providing patient-centered emergency care in a rural, 20-bed unit serving Rutherford County and nearby communities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing thorough patient assessments and identifying care needs
• Initiating appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
• Providing age- and condition-specific nursing care
• Completing accurate documentation to support medical necessity
• Developing and updating interdisciplinary care plans

• Current NC license or Compact license with NC endorsement
• BLS certification required within 30 days; ACLS within 90 days
• Associate’s degree in nursing (Bachelor’s preferred)
• Minimum of one year RN experience in Emergency Department
• Self-scheduling in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
