Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Location
Highlands, NC
Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and response to treatment
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols
- Coordinate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal care
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in EMR (Cerner)
- Adhere to ENA guidelines for patient ratios and best practices
Must have the following certifications:
- Current RN License
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Preferred certifications include:
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse)
- CPEN (Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse)
- CTRN (Certified Transport Registered Nurse)
