Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated OR Manager to join our team. The OR Manager will play a key role in overseeing and managing the daily operations of our operating rooms, ensuring efficient workflow, high standards of patient care, and a positive working environment for our surgical team.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the operating rooms, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures related to surgical services.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and experiences.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Supervise and mentor OR staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Participate in budgeting, inventory management, and equipment maintenance activities.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning within the OR team.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN License
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required; CNOR preferred
- Three years of recent experience required intra-operative setting.
- Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities. Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
