Pay Range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour
Where you will workThe 36-bed Medical Surgical Unit at Davie Medical Center provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of medical and surgical needs. The unit offers access to advanced diagnostic imaging (X-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI) and laboratory studies, and works with an interdisciplinary team of Hospitalists, Nurses, Care Coordinators, Physical and Respiratory Therapists for seamless transition of care.
What you'll do- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, adhering to established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and deliver high-quality, evidence-based care across the continuum.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to support positive patient experiences.
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to obtain ACLS certification within 12 months of hire.
