Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring team.

• Assisting in directing nursing services for the unit/hall under supervision of a Registered Nurse, adhering to the Nursing Practice Act.
• Delegating duties to professional and non-professional nursing staff and monitoring their performance.
• Observing patients for physical and mental symptoms indicating adverse changes.
• Assisting with notifying physicians of emergencies and patient deaths, and implementing physician orders.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma and graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing, with renewal proof every other year.
• Willingness to serve as charge nurse and work during emergencies to ensure adequate coverage.
• Ability to provide quality care, follow doctors’ orders, and demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• Current CPR certification and participation in in-service training and staff meetings.
