Part Time Park Maintenance Assistant
A Part Time Park Maintenance Assistant performs semi-skilled work in the area of park maintenance engaging in a variety of labor-intensive tasks. General duties involve mowing, string trimming, landscaping, preparing athletic fields, general carpentry, housekeeping, cleaning and general custodial work. The work schedule will vary depending on need and quantity of work; schedules are determined weekly and will include weekdays, nights, and weekends at set times.
Education and ExperienceGraduation from high school and 1 to 2 years of experience in labor-intensive maintenance work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Physical RequirementsMust be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment including tractors, lawn mowers, welders, rakes, and power and hand tools etc. Must be able to exert up to 80 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
