Job Description
In the Lab Tech role, you will complete performance testing and provide feedback to Operations and Quality. The role will be required to summarize information, respond to suspect material conditions, and coordinate with Quality auditing and engineering to ensure compliance to performance and inspection standards.
Responsibilities- Use inspection equipment to analyze raw materials and finished products.
- Conduct performance testing for PE decking and PVC products to support Production.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and accurate work records.
- Perform ad hoc testing as needed to support Production, R&D, and Quality.
- Perform incoming inspections for raw materials.
- Support compliance requirements under direction of Quality Engineer and/or Quality Analyst II.
- Generate technical reports summarizing work performed and results obtained.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience with gauges.
- American Society of Quality Certified Quality Technician or related certification.
- Experience with Excel VBA.
- Experience with Minitab software.
- Experience with gauge studies.
- Trade school certificate in Machining, Metrology or related field.
