Senior Manager, Feed Safety & FSMA

Smithfield Foods -  - Responsibilities:
Oversee all feed safety, quality, and regulatory programs to ensure full compliance with FDA FSMA and USDA requirements and other applicable regulations; lead FDA inspections at company feed mills.;
Design, implement, and manage FSMA compliance programs across all mills, including Food Safety & Quality Plans; maintain SOPs; oversee training and PCQI certification requirements.;
Develop and manage the Supplier Verification Program (SVP) and ensure compliance with feeding system regulatory requirements; oversee feed labels and sequencing charts.;
Maintain documentation, records, and audit readiness; conduct mill visits, internal audits, and facility performance assessments; perform mock feed recalls and maintain traceability readiness.;
Lead root-cause investigations and implement CAPAs; provide technical support to resolve recurring quality failures; collaborate with operations to prevent FSMA, HACCP, SOP and production failures.
